My Favorite Peloton Classes

Hi all! Happy Monday! If you didn't know, you can pay for the Peloton classes and use the app without the Tread or Bike. You can still use the bike/tread classes on other treadmills and bikes but you'll just have to modify a bit. They also have a ton of other classes. I love the strength classes, yoga, and meditation. I'm actually going to take a stretching class tonight because I'm so sore from yesterdays run.

First- my favorite spin classes. I LOVE Robin Arzon's Tabata or HIIT classes. They're tough and give you an awesome workout in under an hour. I would say work up to her longer Tabata classes if you're new to spin. Second, I love any arms and intervals class. I underestimated these because the weights are light but they give me such a good arm workout (think arm burnouts) and cardio all in 30 minutes. Lastly, I love any theme class! The JLO one with Robin and Jess or the Backstreet Boys one with Cody are my two favorites right now. They're so fun that it gets you pumped to workout.

Talking yoga- there is a hip focused yoga class that I'm obsessed with. Ross Rayburn is the instructor and it's just a 20 minute class but it helps me so much! My hips get really tight especially with running and nothing has helped them quite like this class. I also love the power yoga sessions with Anna Greenberg because they're quick yet tough and effective.

As for strength workouts, the 20 min legs workouts that are intermediate level or above actually rock my world, haha. I also underestimated these classes because of the short time but the instructors are efficient with your time and I'm sore for days after these workouts. I usually do a warm up class or warm up on my own before any strength class. My second favorite strength classes are the core workouts. I've tried many of these with many different instructors and haven't found one I don't like. They're all very different which I enjoy so I don't end up in a rut.

I also love the meditation classes! Random, but love them for relaxing- especially before bed. The stretching classes are good too. These classes remind me of things I should do more often. I would like to try a running workout, but haven't yet! Usually, I prefer to be alone, zoning out on my runs.

Some of my favorite instructors are Robin Arzon (she wrote the running book I've shared), Ally Love, Cody Rigsby, Jess Sims for strength, Kendall Toole, and Jess King. I think all the instructors are awesome! But everyone has certain ones they really vibe with. I like instructors that are fun but also major motivators. Also, I love that all of these shorter classes still give me a good workout. When you have a toddler running around, sometimes you only have thirty minutes to workout! One year later and I still don't regret joining the Peloton team!!
